The event was concluded successfully at “CORBET THE GRAND RESORT, JIM CORBET, UTTARAKHAND” on 28th May 2017. 428 players including officials from 13 States of India took part in the event.

An ITF International Technical Seminar was conducted with success by GM. Kim Ung Chol, ITF Tournament Standing Committee Chair from 2nd to 4th June 2017 in Semey City, Kazakhstan.
Attended by more than 30 instructors and coaches from Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, the Seminar went to the deep of Taekwon-Do techniques and skills to be assimilated by its participants to further promote our original Taekwon-Do in the region. The President of City Sport Committee provided an audience to GM. Kim Ung Chol along with main representatives of countries present at the Seminar.

1st Master Hed Mohammad Shirzai Cup 21 of April 2017
Over 140 Taekwon-do athletes took part at the 1st Master Hed Mohammad Shirzai Cup Championships which was held on 21 April 2017 in Kabul-Afghanistan.
Due to unstable and risky situation in the country unfortunately AANTA representatives from other provinces of Afghanistan could not participate. The competition was held at HASSAN-E-SABBAH modern sport hall which gave a very positive impression to all attendees. The championship was organized by All Afghanistan National Taekwon-do Association ITF. The competitors presented as always a very good technical level, especially unexpectedly great in the sparring category of children beside Junior and Senior participants. For all winners, Umpires, Referees and Coaches were awarded respective medals, cups and certificates. All participants made this event a memorable one;

Friendship and Unity Championships for all ITF Family
(7-8 April 2017 Herat, Afghanistan)
As per the instruction of National Olympic Committee and the Department of Sports in Herat province, all ITF clubs and associations have been gathered for the National Championships in Herat Province. 2 days Championships were held on 7 and 8 April 2017 at the national gym where 19 clubs consisting of total 250 ITF students participated.
The motto of the Championships is “Friendship and Unity for all ITF family”. The Championships successfully ended with lots of lessons learnt and experiences gained for color belts and for all participants who participated ever first time in such events.

Activities of Salvadoran Association of Taekwon-Do ITF
The Taekwon-Do Symposium was held in the two cities of Morocco.
The Symposium was chaired by Mst. Mounir Ghrawi, ITF XIII Dan Holder who gave wide range background knowledge with respect to the History and the evolution of TKD till present day. As native speaker of Arabic language, he could be able to get easily rid of lots of misunderstanding and misinformation deeply rooted in the mind of all attendees thus making the Symposium itself an overall success.
He also profited his stay in the country to visit WTF Dojang where he proceeded to the exchange of views and opinions with students for further promotion of Taekwon-Do.

The Taekwon-Do ORO KWAN ARGENTINA -TOKA - ITF- National Congress was held in the framework of the Forum with the Government of the Province of Santiago del Estero, Argentina.
Chaired by GM. Osvaldo Rios OLIVERO, PTA President, the event was attended by official Government officials and Taekwon-Do Instructors.

along with other Masters of the country.
Grand Master Adolfo Villanueva in Brazil
The 1st ITF International Technical Seminar with Grand Master Adolfo Villanueva was held at the city of Brasília from 17th to 19th March 2017 hosted by NGB ITF Brazil presided by Sabum Teodosio Riveros. The venue was the main conference room of the Hotel Manhatan Plaza where worked together the representatives of the State of Bahia (Sabum Ary Alakija IV DAN), Ceará (Sabum Teodosio Riveros VI DAN and Bu Sabum Antonio Segundo III DAN) and Distrito Federal (Bu Sabum Marcio Carvalho III DAN, Bu Sabum Francisco Bomfim I DAN and Bu Sabum Marcelo Pires I DAN), all main promoters of ITF Taekwon-Do at the capital of Brazil.
An ad-hoc meeting with respect to different Taekwon-Do matters, schedule of competitions and plans for the future was also held sharing respective experiences gained in the field of Taekwon-Do promotion.
Grand Master Adolfo J. Villanueva, ITF EB Member & ITF Vice-President was a tremendous source of inspiration of the event and an incarnation of humanity, humility, dignity and knowledge imbued with principles.

ITF Serbia Open Taekwon-Do Championship was held at the “Sports Hall” of the City Backa Topola, Serbia.
ITF International Technical Seminar

An ITF International Technical Seminar so requested by Prof. PhD. Mircea-Valentin Muntean, President of Romanian Federation of Korean Martial Sports (R.F.K.M.S.) and approved by ITF Headquarters was held on 16th-18th December 2016 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The Seminar conducted by Prof. GM. Hwang Ho Yong, ITF Senior Vice-president was attended by more than 30 Dan holders from Romania, UK and Moldavia. The promotion test for 4th and 5th Dan was also carried out in compliance with ITF Constitution & its By-Law.
Outstanding results of the very first team to compete in an International competition.
The 1st South East Asian Championships were held in Cambodia with seven participating countries.
4 students from Thailand were able to participate in eight events and with the burden of such a responsibility were still able to achieve seven medals - one Silver and 6 Bronze across free sparring, tuls and power breaking.
The success will be able to bridge the hope to the growth of the National team.
The biggest newspaper talks about ITF Seminar
The biggest newspaper of Finland “Helsingin Sanomat” was in Grand Master Kim Ung Chol’s (9th Dan) Seminar making interview and video about its process. This was first time in ITF history in Finland that ITF Taekwon-Do did get so much attention in the biggest newspaper in Finland.

The 28th Delhi State Junior/Senior/Veteran ITF Taekwon-do Championships and the 12th Sub- Junior Delhi State Championship were concluded successfully at Thyagraj Indoor Stadium, New Delhi on 4th December 2016. 6873 players from 181 Schools and 55 Clubs of Delhi NCR participated in the event. The event was held from 1st to 4th December 2016 and many VIPs enjoyed the event.
