ITF International Technical Seminar

An ITF International Technical Seminar so requested by Prof. PhD. Mircea-Valentin Muntean, President of Romanian Federation of Korean Martial Sports (R.F.K.M.S.) and approved by ITF Headquarters was held on 16th-18th December 2016 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The Seminar conducted by Prof. GM. Hwang Ho Yong, ITF Senior Vice-president was attended by more than 30 Dan holders from Romania, UK and Moldavia. The promotion test for 4th and 5th Dan was also carried out in compliance with ITF Constitution & its By-Law.

Outstanding results of the very first team to compete in an International competition.

 

The 1st South East Asian Championships were held in Cambodia with seven participating countries.

4 students from Thailand were able to participate in eight events and with the burden of such a responsibility were still able to achieve seven medals - one Silver and 6 Bronze across free sparring, tuls and power breaking.

The success will be able to bridge the hope to the growth of  the National team.

The biggest newspaper talks about ITF Seminar

 

The biggest newspaper of Finland “Helsingin Sanomat” was in Grand Master Kim Ung Chol’s (9th Dan) Seminar making interview and video about its process. This was first time in ITF history in Finland that ITF Taekwon-Do did get so much attention in the biggest newspaper in Finland.

Big Events

  

The 28th Delhi State Junior/Senior/Veteran ITF Taekwon-do Championships and the 12th Sub- Junior Delhi State Championship were concluded successfully at Thyagraj Indoor Stadium, New Delhi on 4th December 2016. 6873 players from 181 Schools and 55 Clubs of Delhi NCR participated in the event. The event was held from 1st to 4th December 2016 and many VIPs enjoyed the event.

Bulgaria Open 2016

 

Bulgaria Open 2016, 19-20 November 2016, Plovdiv, “Paisii Hilendarski” sport hall.

627 participants, 11 countries, 43 clubs.

The tournament was opened from the mayor of Plovdiv - inj. Ivan Totev.

ITF International Technical Seminar & ITF International Umpire Course

 

ITF International Technical Seminar & ITF International Umpire Course was held in Los Barrios, Spain from 28th to 30th October. The events were conducted by GM. Kim Ung Chol, ITF Tournament Standing Committee Chair. Mst. Gary Miller from UK and 4 instructors from Scotland attended the events along with Mst. Frank Diaz, President of Spanish ITF Union with his instructors and students.

Report of Technical Seminar in Oxford

8th October 2016

 

Grand Master Harkess from Edinburgh, Scotland was invited to Oxford by Master Mitchell to conduct a Technical Seminar with Master Mitchell’s students.

Fifteen students from Master Mitchell’s class participated in the 3 hour seminar, where Grand Master Harkess went through patterns, stance correction and power breaking with students. ...

ITF Outstanding Instructor Medal

 

Prof. Master Ri Yong Son, ITF President presented to Master Moulden the ITF Outstanding Instructor Medal for Sabum Rachanok Moulden, V Dan ITF Thailand, in Montreal, Canada. 

Returned back, Master Moulden presented the Medal and Plaque to Sabum Rachanok Moulden, V Dan at one of regular classes.

INTERNATIONAL TECHNICAL SEMINAR - ITF MALAYSIA 2016

 

The International Technical Seminar was held  on 4-6 November in Johor Malaysia, hosted by International Taekwon-Do Federation Malaysia, which was normally open only to those taking their senior gradings in Malaysia. There were 24 senior black belts participated including 4 instructors from ITF Singapore. Conducted by GM Tan Chek Si, who provided details technical aspects of ITF Taekwon-Do in line with the course requirements of ITF.

He was also assisted by Master Azwan Khoo, Master Ong Siong Wee and Master Lee Sock Cheng.

After the seminar on 6 Nov, there were 16 members who took their senior Dan gradings.

It was not only a successful seminar but everyone had an enjoyable times too.

Inauguration of ITF in Iraq

 

The gathering of Iraq ITF group held in the city of Suleymaniyeh, Iraq republic on September 27th   2016.

In order to inaugurate the Iraq ITF association and administer the affiliation procedure to the International Taekwon-Do Federation,Mr. Hossein Farid Sabbagh the president of Iran ITF TKD & liaison officer of ITF in west Asia & Arabic Countries had been presented in the meeting.  As a conclusion the meeting the IRAQ ITF TKD Association formed and Mr. Bakhtyar Hussein Radha elected as president of IRAQ ITF TKD Association, Mr. Naeim Safari, the founder of Iraq ITF TKD, named as the honorary life president by all the present members. Mr. Tariq Saleh Najmaddin elected as the vice president as well. Mr. Tariq Saleh N. declared that, he would do his best to help his people in Iraq to be in good health and being secure so he found ITF TKD one of the best ways that all the people can use in order to strengthen their mental and physical power. Mr. Hossein Farid S. gave a brief introduction about ITF and TKD founder and the current situation of International Taekwon-Do Federation under the presidency of Professor Master Ri Yong Son. The minutes and relevant affiliation agreement papers delivered to Mr. H. Farid for submission in ITF HQ. 

57th National Technical & Theory Seminar

 

The “57th National Technical & Theory Seminar” was concluded with success at Thyagraj Indoor Stadium, New Delhi on 1st and 2nd October  2016.  The Seminar was conducted collectively by Master U Kyong Ok, 7th Dan (DPR Korea), Master Rachana Chourasia Rajendran, 7th Dan and Sabum Sin Hae Song, 4th Dan (DPR Korea)  along with Sabum Narender Singh Rawat,6th Dan and other Senior Black Belt Instructors of Delhi under the overall supervision of Master Rajendran Balan, 8th Dan.  1322 students from the age group of 4 to 50 years attended the Seminar.

Nepal ITF's International medalist were honored by National Sports Council as cash prize on 7th September 2016 at Kathmandu, Nepal.

Special honor was given to the 2015 International Medalists as Nepal ITF players won medals at the South Asian Championship last year.

The news will inspire a lot the coming new generations.

ITF Taekwon-Do Demonstration held in University of Technology, Cambodia on August 13th 2016.

 

The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Chhuon Chanthan, rector of the University and Master Ri Chol Nam, ITF Instructor in Cambodia with his students. Very soon, Taekwon-Do Club will be open at the University. The University will provide with all training facilities of the Club.
